Lee Gene Shqeir commented on Sarah Biggerstaff's event 'Science Fiction and Fantasy Reading Group'
I have been a Niven fan for some years; however, I didn't find this one among his best work. I prefer his earlier works.

What is your favorite book that was made into a movie?

As we know, the movie does not always match up to the book. Yet sometimes it's even better. The source, still, is the book. So what BOOK did you love that later became a movie? Also, do you think the movie carried it's weight, was better than the book or poorer than the book?See More

The cover will definitely encourage me to read it (to include the imagery, the title, the reviews and the synopsis). That's the purpose of a cover. Yet it won't stop me from reading other books either. :)

I have my own online book club but wanted to start to join one that physically gets together, and reap the rewards of the latter.
